Program Highlights
The curriculum includes storyboarding, 2D and 3D animation, object animation, and experimental methods. Students study animation history, character design, scenario writing, and sound editing, gaining hands-on experience in developing original content from concept to execution. The program fosters artistic expression, critical thinking, and visual storytelling, with an emphasis on narrative structure and contemporary visual culture.
Skill Development
Graduates of the Animated Films program are qualified for a wide range of careers in the animation and digital media industries. They may work as animators, storyboard artists, motion graphics designers, character designers, or compositors in film studios, television networks, advertising agencies, game development companies, or independent production houses. The program also prepares graduates to pursue freelance opportunities or build personal creative brands in the global animation market.
Graduates will be prepared to take on roles within companies and institutions such as:
- Animator in animation production studios and television advertising.
- Character Designer and Background Artist for games, films, and animated content.
- Storyboard Artist specializing in visual storytelling and narrative development.
- VFX Artist and Motion Graphics Designer for visual effects and digital animation.
- Animation Studio Founder, establishing specialized independent or collaborative animation practices.

Academic Prerequisites
- Egyptian Thanaweya Amma: Any track – علمي علوم / علمي رياضه / أدبي.
- American Diploma: 8 subjects incl. English + 7 approved subjects + SAT/ACT/EST.
- Canadian Diploma: 8 subjects from Grades 11 & 12 incl. English + 7 approved subjects.
- French Baccalaureate: 7 subjects with Math in the terminal year.
- IGCSE: 8 O-Level subjects incl. English + 7 approved subjects.
- International Baccalaureate: 6 subjects incl. English + Theory of Knowledge & Extended Essay.
- Nile Certificate (CNISE): 7 L1 subjects incl. Arabic, English, and Math.
- Abitur: 7 subjects incl. English + 6 approved subjects.
- Arab’s Thanaweya: Any track – علمي علوم / علمي رياضه / أدبي + Qudrat or transcripts.
