Hazem is a member of the Badya University Board of Trustees. He has been Palm Hills Developments’ Co-CEO & Managing Director since 2021.

Badran has a BA in Business Administration from the AAST and completed the Investment Appraisal & Corporate Finance Program of The Harvard Institute for International Development, Harvard University.

He brings over 24 years of experience in the field of Corporate Finance and Investment Banking. During his most recent position, Hazem was Group CEO for CI Capital Holding, where he played a significant role in its transformation since he joined 2013 Egypt’s largest financial services group through growth, operational experiences, and an aggressive successful acquisition plan. Before that, Hazem spent nine years at EFG-Hermes, the MENA Region’s largest Investment Bank where he held the positions of MD for Investment Banking & CEO for the Levant Region.

Hazem serves, on the Board of Directors of Palm Hills Developments, Taaleem Management Services, International Leasing Company, and Maridive Oil Services. He was also Chairman of Corplease and Chairman of the Investment Committee at the AmCham.
