Biography

Tarek Tantawy is a member of the Badya University Board of Trustees. He assumed the role of Palm Hills Development’s Group Co-CEO & MD in 2021.

Tantawy holds a B.Sc. in Construction Engineering from the AUC, Egypt, and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School in the UK and is a CFA charter holder. He attended executive education programs at Kellogg Graduate School of Management in the United States and IESA Business School in Spain.

During his career, he has successfully led companies to sales growth, business expansion, operational efficiency, and significant profitability. In his previous roles, Tantawy was Co-CEO & MD of CI Capital Holding for Financial Investments, CEO and MD of Telecom Egypt, CFO of IDJ-Beyti (a JV of Almarai & Pepsico), Vice President of the Investment Banking division at Sigma Capital, and Senior Consultant in the Corporate Finance division at FinRate Consulting.
