Summer Exchange Program for Badya Dentistry Student

Badya Dentistry Student moved to Houston to visit the school of dentistry at University of Texas Health for two weeks. There, he attended lectures and practical labs with second year dental students from the school of dentistry at Houston. He had hands-on experience at the operative lab, where he practiced filling a decayed tooth. He also visited several clinics including urgent care clinic and had the opportunity to shadow several dentists and to watch many procedures, such as normal fillings, cleanings, root canal treatment, one day implant placement and soft tissue grafting. Such early clinical exposure is an amazing opportunity for a second-year dentistry student.
