Hesham Gohar is a member of the Badya University Board of Trustees. He also serves as Group Chief Executive Officer at CI Capital.

Gohar holds a B.A. in Economics from the American University in Cairo and a degree in Executive Education from Harvard Business School. He brings over 22 years of experience in the investment industry as a Board Director for more than 20 companies and advised over 75 transactions in Egypt and other emerging markets. In academia, Gohar also serves as Board Director of BISC, one of Egypt’s most prestigious private schools.

In his current role as Group CEO of CI Capital, he has held several positions in the last decade. Before CI Capital, Mr. Gohar held senior leadership positions in investment banking and private equity investing across the MENA region at firms including Shuaa Capital (as Group Head of Principal Investments), Dubai Group, and Beltone Financial, among others.
