Biography

Professor and former Head of Oral Pathology, Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University
Bachelor of Dental Science, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University, (1994)
PhD in Oral Pathology, Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University, (2004)
Master’s Degree in Oral Pathology and Biology, Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University (2000)
One of the founders and a member of the Precision Measurement and Tumor Markers Unit, Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University with laboratory experience including immunohistochemical and histochemical staining and in the field of image analysis, the use of the stereomicroscope and polarized light microscope.
Member of the Research Ethics Committee, Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University
Supervised numerous master’s and PhD students in their research work.
Peer reviewer for the Egyptian Dental Journal (EDJ), Al-Azhar Journal of Dental Science (ADJ), the Bulletin of the National Research Center (BNRC), the Egyptian Journal of Histology (EJH)
